Red Orchestra Server Update Released
A server update for Red Orchestra has been released which addresses some server issues which have arisen since the last update. We highly recommend all server admins update their servers.
There is NO update to the RO client, so there is no action to take unless you run your own server!

Dedicated Mare Nostrum Servers At Game Servers
Following on from the success of the Mare Nostrum launch on Steam at the weekend, we noticed that Game Servers are now offering MN servers – see their note here: http://www.gameservers.com/game_servers/game_view.php?GMID=69.
Nice to see some more support for the mod!

RED ORCHESTRA MODS ON STEAM NOW
Red Orchestra MODs will be the first third party game MODs to be made available through Steam. And just to celebrate, Tripwire is reducing the price 75% to $4.99 until Monday 20th October.
Roswell, GA, October 17th, 2008 - Tripwire Interactive is pleased to announce that select MODs created for Red Orchestra: Ostfront 41-45 are now available free of charge directly through Steam to all owners of the popular World War II themed online action title.
The first MOD released, Mare Nostrum, allows players to experience some of the fiercest battles of WWII across North Africa and Italy. The MOD adds three new nationalities to the game including the British, Australians and Italians as well as adding the German Afrika Korps. Featuring 8 new maps, 8 new weapons and 10 vehicles the game play is varied from gritty street to street fighting in urban surroundings to all out tank warfare in the open desert.
To celebrate all this – and to further encourage everyone to try the game and the mods – Tripwire is dropping the price of Red Orchestra: Ostfront 41-45 for the weekend to just $4.99. The mods will appear in your Steam Games list and will now be automatically updated just like any other game released through Steam.
Red Orchestra is available via Steam and at retail outlets worldwide. For more information about Red Orchestra: Ostfront 41-45 and Steam, please visit www.steamgames.com.

RO Updated!
Today we are releasing a small update for Red Orchestra. The update improves the display of the player count numbers in the server browser as well as adding support for upcoming mod releases (more on that one soon). This is now available through Steam and will update automatically.
Server admins will need to update using HLDS in the normal fashion.

Steam and Red Orchestra patches released
Just to let everyone know, we have released a small update for the in-game browser. The update will allow the server browser to refresh much quicker. Additionally, the server browser will now list the servers AS it refreshes, rather than building up a whole list and displaying that whole list at once. And finally, the server browser will now sort the list by whatever you have selected (ping, server name, etc) as it refreshes.
A Steam client update is now available which allows you to properly join servers for RO mods from the Steam server browser (before it would just launch the mod, but not connect to the server). You can also join a server a friend is on if they are playing an RO mod.
Have fun!
